Asbestos and Lead Estimator/Supervisor

Position Summary:
The responsibilities of the Estimator/Supervisor include understanding all aspects of the project during the bidding process, and utilizing these skills to successfully complete project estimates and bid proposals for Industrial and private clients.
Responsibilities:
- Review plans and specifications to determine the project scope of work.
- Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to further determine the scope of work.
- Solicit suppliers and subcontractors needed to price the work.
- Perform accurate and detailed take-offs.
- Build the estimate using estimating software, including crew composition, production rates, equipment allocation, material pricing, and subcontractor pricing.
- Prepare Word document bid proposals.
- Allocate phase codes and create budgets from the estimate.
- Develop and maintain Project schedules.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including purchase orders and subcontracts.
- Assist in developing RFI’s and project quality control testing plans and procedures.
- Assist the project managers getting projects from the bid phase to construction.
- Develop and maintain cost history from the field for future estimates.
- Help run and work in the field when required.
- Training on various equipment (manlift, forklift, & skid steer)
Qualifications or Experience:
- 3-5 Years prior estimating experience or project management experience preferred.
- Excel, Word, and Outlook computer skills are preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work within a team to successfully complete Projects.
- Motivated and driven individual.
- PA Asbestos License (will be required to obtain if not licensed already)
- Driver’s License
Compensation and Benefits:
- Based on education and past experience.

Civil Construction Estimator – Industrial Division
