T-578 Steiner Road Bridge, Clarion County
Francis J. Palo, Inc. was awarded a project with Paint Township Supervisors in conjunction with The EADS Group, on February 3, 2000, to replace the T-578 Steiner Road Bridge over Step Creek in Paint Twp., Clarion County. Work consisted of the construction of a Precast Reinforced Concrete Box Culvert carrying T-578 over Step Creek having a clear span of 19 feet and a total width of 33.89 feet. as well as construction of approximately 440 feet of bituminous surfaced road with a subbase. The existing pipe culvert was removed. Palo, Inc. also did the seeding and mulching, installation of guiderail, and ditching and rock lining. The total overall length of the project was 492 feet (.093 mile). The project started on March 6th and was completed on July 18, 2000.
