T-423 Benezette Bridge, Elk County
FRANCIS J. PALO, INC. was awarded a project with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Transportation on April 13, 2006 for the improvement of TOWNSHIP ROUTE 423, SECTION 000 in ELK COUNTY, BENEZETTE TOWNSHIP. This project was near the village of Benezette starting at the intersection of SR 0555 and T-423 (also known as Station Road). Palo, Inc. removed the existing 3 span metal truss bridge and replaced it with a 3 span P/S concrete I-Beam Bridge. The total length of bridge is approximately 94 meters. The project started on June 12, 2006 and was completed on June 19, 2007.
