Francis J. Palo, Inc. was awarded an ECMS project with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Transportation on September 18, 2003, in Oakland and Cherrytree Townships, Venango County. The project consists of roadway improvements, including moving 70,000 cy of dirt, realigning roadway, milling, widening, subbase, binder and wearing course, concrete curb and gutter, drainage improvements, guide rail, signing and pavement markings, all in a distance of 7,000 feet. A concrete box culvert will be precast over a tributary to Cherrytree Run. The project started on November 17, 2003 and was completed on May 16, 2005.
