SR 422 (08B) Whitemill Station Bridge, Cambria County
FRANCIS J. PALO, INC. was awarded a project on March 6, 2008 with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Transportation to rehabilitate an 80 ft single span reinforced concrete arch structure carrying SR 422 over the North Branch of Blacklick Creek. The existing pavement will be removed and a concrete slab will be placed over the arch at a widened clear roadway width of 34 ft. New concrete barrier will be constructed, the arch ring and spandrel walls will be patched with gunnite. The project started on April 7, 2008 and will be finished on or before July 17, 2008.
