Francis J. Palo, Inc. was awarded a project on March 3, 2004 with the Commonwealth of Pennsylania, Department of Transportation, for the construction of a section of highway in Centre and Clearfield Counties in Decatur and Rush Townships. The project consisted of removing two existing bridges and their reconstruction with single span replacements; approximately 54,000 square feet of roadway work, 9,900 square feet of cement concrete pavement (various depths), 6,000 square feet of reinforced concrete pipe (various sizes), traffic signalization, sanitary sewer relocations, demolition, and pavement markings. The project started on March 15, 2004 and was finished on before January 26, 2006.
