SR 219 (A04) Gallagher Run Bridge, Elk Co.
FRANCIS J. PALO, INC. was awarded a contract with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Transportation on May 11, 2006, for the improvement of a certain section of STATE HIGHWAY in ELK COUNTY, RIDGWAY BOROUGH AND RIDGWAY TOWNSHIP, , STATE ROUTE 0219, SECTION A04. The project was situated as follows: In Ridgway Borough and Ridgway Township on State Route 0219, starting at approximately 600 feet east of the intersection of SR 0219 and SR 0120 and continuing 800 feet westward, approximately 200 feet northward on SR 0120 from previously mentioned intersection. Palo, Inc. removed the existing Single Span Reinforced Concrete Slab Structure and replaced it with a Single Span Composite Prestressed Concrete Adjacent Plank Beam Bridge. The project started on July 11, 2006 and was completed on November 6, 2007.
