SR 219, Johnsonburg Bypass
Francis J. Palo, Inc. was awarded a project on March 2, 2006, with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Transportation, to construct a section of highway in Elk County, Johnsonburg Borough. The highway starts on SR 219 beginning apporximately 1500 feet south of its intersection with SR 255 and continues northward for approximately 2800 feet. A Multi-span Prestressed Concrete I-beam Bridge (approximately 694 feet) was constructed over the Clarion River as well as a Sound Barrier Wall (approximately 750 feet). This project started on April 3, 2006 and was completed on November 2, 2007.
