Francis J. Palo, Inc. was awarded a contract with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Transportation on February 25, 1999 to replace the North Oakland Bridge in Oakland Twp., Butler County. The project consisted of removing the existing bridge and replacing it with a One Span Composite Prestressed Adjacent Box Beam Bridge (overall length of 21.34 meters), approaches, installation of guide rail and drainage improvements. The project started March 30, 1999 and was completed on September 13, 1999.
