Mill Street Bridge, City of Bradford, McKean County
Francis J. Palo, Inc. was awarded a project with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Transportation on July 27, 2000 in the City of Bradford, McKean County, Pennsylvania. Palo, Inc. removed the existing Mill Street Bridge and replaced the structure with a three span prestressed concrete adjacent box beam bridge with a concrete deck. This project also entailed approach slabs, causeway, roadway reconstruction, bituminous paving, shoulders, concrete curb, sidewalk, guiderail, and drainage improvements. Approximately 85m of water line was installed under Tunungwant Creek. The project started on April 2, 2001 and was finished on September 19, 2001.
