Heathville Bridge Project, T-337 (000)
Francis J Palo, Inc. was awarded a contract on October 6, 1998 with the Jefferson County Commissioners for the replacement of the Heathville Bridge, T-337 (000), over Redbank Creek, Beaver Township, Jefferson County. The previous structure was a 224 foot, two span steel pony truss bridge with cut stone and mortar abutments. The structure was replaced with a 246 foot, three span continuous concrete spread box beam bridge with reinforced concrete abutments and piers. The project started on October 12, 1998 and was completed June 25, 1999, ahead of schedule.
