Glen Hazel Bridge - SR 1004 (850)
Francis J. Palo, Inc. was awarded a contract with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania on January 6, 1999 to replace the Glen Hazel Bridge on SR 1004 (805), in Jones Twp., Elk County. The existing superstructure was removed and replaced with a Steel Bridge Superstructure (approximately 70 foot span), along with approach work, guide rail updating, pavement markings, and painting existing structural steel with aluminum mastic systems. The project started March 17, 1999 and ended August 2, 1999, ahead of schedule.
